Americans were showing a renewed interest in cereal, with a white space in delicious, better-for-you cereals. As the #1 granola brand and leader in the Natural aisle, Purely Elizabeth was looking to leverage their deliciousness and Purely Elizabeth standards to expand their leadership and footprint in the cold cereal category.
Action Taken
DuPuis partnered with Purely Elizabeth to develop their cereal innovation strategy and pipeline to grow their category share in the growing natural cereal category, and develop offerings that would excite big box retailers. They wanted to take their clean label, intentional ingredients and craveable taste and explore new tastes, formats, benefits and occasions. We began by diving into the company, category and consumer to develop innovation platforms. After a collaborative ideation session, we developed consumer-facing concepts for testing.
Results
Purely Elizabeth has a pipeline of ideas that beat their target metrics and are being prepared for launch.
