Challenge

Andrew & Everett is a leader in the farm-to-table cheese approach and advancing animal welfare in the natural cheese category, with the widest selection of hormone free, grass-fed cheeses in the market. Their branding did not match their modern approach to cheesemaking, and was not as approachable as they desired.

Action Taken

DuPuis partnered with Andrew & Everett to evolve their multi-segment portfolio with a modern look and feel that communicates consistent quality and rich taste. We explored design strategies and brand mark options with simpler, more approachable claims, along with portfolio shopping systems that make it easy to choose Andrew & Everett for all cheese needs. The top 2 design strategies were put before consumers for feedback, and then we finalized the winning design. The final design strategy elevates the brand name for distinction and shoppability, while elegantly bringing the cows to the packaging forefront to communicate naturalness and quality.

Results

The new modern farm fresh look was rolled out across all SKUs, laying the foundation for a highly shoppable natural brand.
